Well done, Broncos.

OK, so Manly's first try was a blatant double movement and the Broncos couldn't buy a break in the first half, but the fightback was inspirational and the season result extraordinary. Be proud, boys.

In some senses it's a sad way for Darren Lockyer's NRL career to end but I hope we get to see him playing in the four nations. I'd love to see him go out the winner he has always been in the competition, at least. Plenty of great players have gone out in far less glorious ways and at least Locky got to sweep the floor in 2006.

Hook griffin has had a brilliant year and every one of the Broncos players will be better for the experience they have gained this year. Their fragility showed last night but next year could be theirs, as many people have predicted. Sam Thaiday tried hard and put in some inspirational efforts, but there's no substitute for Lockyer's poise and calmness under pressure - that's what the Broncos lacked.

To be fair, Melbourne and Manly have been the standout teams all year and should probly be the ones to play in the Grand Final.

Go Melbourne Storm for the Premiership and bring on 2012 for the Broncos.
