It's a sad time for Australian politics and journalism. One of the most entertaining, fair-minded and insightful political commentators died of brain tumours on the weekend.

Matt price was the beacon of reason in a sea of right-wing nonsense in The Australia, and his sudden death at the age of 45 leaves a big hole in the field. I'm sure his family will miss him even more.
