Value in old media

Interesting to note that a piece of paper with Beatles lyrics written on it is worth a lot of money. Goes to reinforce the old adage about easy things being worth less than difficult things - for all the copies of those lyrics, digital, printed out, hand-transcribed, etc, this one is the only one worth anything.

Also shows the long-term benefits of creating things in a tangible way. The early tapes of the Beatles recordings are worth more than all of the copies of those recordings ... plenty of artists and athletes have generated a lot of value by selling the memorabilia of their acheivements.

One day some of my pieces of paper might be worth something similar.
