Longing for the day ...

Bugger!

Lost the Grand Final last night in sudden-death extra time. We started well, leading 3-1 at one stage, and then dropped off to be 4-4 at half-time.

Got hammered early in the second half to trail 7-5 but clawed it back to lead 8-7 with a minute to go. Just needed to defend one set to take the title, but the Chelmer Cats were too good and scored the equaliser.

When it came to the three-on-three they just had too much speed for my poor tired bones ... well done. They earned it.

Still, there's always next season ... :-)
