I'm very disappointed. Perhaps they should have reversed the wildcard selections and had 2 by popular choice.

Still, the two they picked are not bad.

A quick note before I watch the first final - I'm backing Dan to win. I don't think he's the strongest performer in the bunch, but he's a strong performer and he's got that "great Aussie Bloke" thing going for him. Australian audiences have backed that repeatdly in Reality TV shows ...

Of course, there's a lot of time to go and a lot of performances to watch before we find out!

u know, its more so the depth i see in this young performer, and she sings with it with all her heart and thats what is going to take her far further than anyone else.

I think Ngaiire should have got thru, if not, she should have taken out Aussie Idol 2. She was the most talented with a voice that succumbed everyone else in the comp. Go hard Ngaiire, even though u didn't make it, your still my idol.
